A collaboration between Paul and Davis Petterson (percussionist of dp3), this cd was recorded live during a radio interview broadcast on 30 June 2006 from Athens, Georgia. Paul's compositions are subtly ornamented by Petterson's percussive elements, and superbly recorded in order to preserve the quality of true improvised performance flowing seamlessly into complex composition. This cd features the recorded debut of one of Paul's most haunting compositions, "West," which recalls the sombre works of eastern european composers such as Arvo Pärt or Henryk Mikołaj Górecki.
